Suzuki Swift power window switch not responding – is it a common problem?

My 2020 Swifts rear-left power window switch has become completely unresponsive, both from the rear door and the driver-side master control. Is this a known issue in Swift models in Pakistan? Could it be a faulty switch o r wiring issue?

Yes, power window switch failure is common, especially on rear doors due to less frequent use and lower-quality internal switches.

Common Causes:
Dead o r dirty contacts inside the switch from moisture o r dust.

Broken switch connector o r damaged wiring, especially if the door panel was removed previously.

Master control switch may have failed to send power to the individual switch.

Solutions:
Try switching the left rear switch with another door to check if the problem follows the switch.

Check for voltage at the connector using a multimeter.

If both door switch and driver switch don’t work, suspect a wiring fault o r master switch issue.
