Toyota engines check!

Im thinking of throwing out the old 2E engine of the old corolla XE and swappiing it with a petrol or diesel unit. Does anyone know of where i can get any D4D unit of the likes of 1AD-FTV or 2AD-FHV from (near Rawalpindi/ Islamabad)?

Any 1.3/1.6/1.8 petrol vvti units anyone would recommend that I might be able to find easily?

price isn't an issue yet but if sum1 can mention that too...

I will recommend 4EFE . There are a lot of them in Mittu ka Ahata.Its near Gawalmandi.

Mittu ka Ahata is full of 4AFE,5AFE and 4EFE.

The reason why I have suggested 4EFE is cause in that case you dont have to alter your foundations.

In case u need more power 4EFTE is the way to go.

If your choice is diesel I will recommend 3CT 2200 cc. There are a lot of them.

D4D not a good option as our diesel has a lot of impurities.

1.8 1ZZFE is also available in Mittuka Ahata for around 120K (I have seen only one piece ) and is a great torquey engine.

If u can find it nothing like it though I am not sure about the fitting hassles and the wiring issues as they can make your life miserable.
