Transmission overheating can result from:

Excessive load o r towing: Puts extra strain on the transmission system.

Low o r dirty transmission fluid: Reduces cooling and lubrication.

Blocked cooling lines o r radiators: Prevents proper heat dissipation.

Aggressive driving in urban traffic: Frequent stop-and-go traffic increases operating temperature.

Preventive Measures and Emergency Responses:

Ensure transmission fluid is at the correct level and in good condition.

Install auxiliary transmission coolers for vehicles frequently used in traffic o r heavy loads.

Avoid prolonged idling and aggressive driving in congested areas.

If overheating occurs, stop safely, allow the transmission to cool, and seek professional inspection before continuing to drive.
