Installing the wrong heat-range spark plug is surprisingly common:

Too hot plug: Leads to pre-ignition o r engine knocking, which can damage pistons.

Too cold plug: Leads to carbon fouling and misfires, especially in stop-and-go traffic.
Diagnosis:

Check plug electrode for excessive wear, melting, o r black soot.

Engine performance symptoms: knocking, misfires, o r poor fuel efficiency.
Fix:

Use the exact spark plug type and heat rating recommended by United Alpha’s manual.

Avoid aftermarket cheap plugs with incorrect specifications.
