What are the common issues with the interior panels and door trims of Suzuki Mehran?

The door panels in my Suzuki Mehran are starting to come loose and squeak, especially when opening o r closing the doors. Some clips have broken, and the plastic feels very cheap. Is this fixable, o r do I need to replace the whole panel? Are good-quality replacements available in Pakistan?

Mehran’s door panels are made from thin plastic and cardboard backing, which wear out over time, especially in humid o r hot weather. Common issues include:

Squeaky o r loose panels

Broken plastic clips o r handles

Peeling fabric o r vinyl

Fixes:

Replace broken clips available in sets at auto parts shops for Rs. 300–500.

Apply double-sided foam tape behind panels to prevent noise.

If the panel is too damaged, get it re-wrapped o r replaced – used panels are available at scrapyards for Rs. 1,000–2,000 each.

Lubricate door handle joints with grease o r WD-40 to avoid squeaking.

Routine maintenance of interior panels can greatly improve comfort and reduce rattling.
