Cold o r humid weather can exacerbate sputtering due to:

Moisture in the ignition system: Water ingress can cause spark plug o r ignition coil failures.

Condensation in fuel lines o r filters: Moisture can cause fuel delivery issues.

Battery o r alternator weakness: Cold weather stresses electrical components, leading to weak spark generation.

Dirty air filter: Reduced airflow in cold weather makes sputtering worse if the air filter is clogged.

Recommendation:
Check and replace spark plugs and ignition coils if needed, ensure the fuel system is dry and clean, maintain battery health, and replace the air filter regularly.
