I’ve noticed some unusual signs like dim headlights, engine stalling at low RPMs, and a burning smell under the hood in my 2014 Mehran. Someone mentioned that it could be an alternator issue. A failing alternator can cause several symptoms in your Mehran:

Dim o r flickering headlights

Battery warning light on dashboard

Slow engine crank o r frequent stalling

Burning smell from engine bay due to belt slippage o r overheating

Electrical components like fan o r stereo behaving erratically

These symptoms start off mild but can get worse quickly. If your car is showing multiple signs, especially the battery light combined with dim lights, get the alternator tested immediately. Prolonged use in this condition can kill the battery as well.
