What causes frequent tyre punctures in Suzuki Mehran and how to prevent them?

My Suzuki Mehran gets tyre punctures quite often, especially when driving through broken roads o r speed bumps in my area. I’ve been using basic tubeless tyres, but I’m not sure if they’re suitable. Could the problem be due to poor tyre quality, improper tyre pressure, o r low ground clearance? Any tips to avoid repeated punctures?

Frequent punctures are usually caused by a combination of:

Poor road conditions – potholes, debris, o r sharp stones

Old o r low-quality tyres – budget tyres have thinner sidewalls

Incorrect tyre pressure – both under-inflation and over-inflation make tyres more vulnerable

Worn-out suspension – can lead to uneven weight distribution and tyre damage

Tips to reduce punctures:

Use good quality tubeless tyres like General XP2000, Euro Star, o r imported brands like Yokohama o r Dunlop.

Keep tyres inflated to the correct pressure: 28–30 psi for front and rear.

Avoid overloading the car, especially on bad roads.

Get regular wheel alignment and suspension checks.
