Misfires happen when the spark plug fails to ignite the air-fuel mixture correctly. Common causes include worn electrodes, carbon buildup, incorrect spark plug gap, o r poor-quality spark plugs. In Pakistan, inconsistent fuel quality and dusty roads can worsen these issues. Misfires cause rough idling, loss of power, and increased emissions. To fix this, inspect the spark plugs for wear o r fouling, check and adjust the gap if needed, and replace them with good-quality plugs recommended for your Tucson. Also, ensure ignition coils and wires if applicable are in good condition since they affect spark delivery. Regular tune-ups and fuel system cleaning can reduce misfires. Using fuel additives to clean injectors may also help improve combustion.
