What causes one rear tire to wear faster than the other in Suzuki Swift?

The rear-left tire of my 2019 Suzuki Swift is wearing down much faster than the right one. I mostly drive in Karachi, and the roads are a mix of smooth and uneven patches. Could this be a suspension bushing issue o r improper wheel balancing?

Uneven rear tire wear on one side often signals an issue with suspension imbalance o r rear alignment, which is often overlooked in routine service.

Likely Causes:
Worn trailing arm bushings o r rear shocks, which affect how the wheel sits under load.

Incorrect rear camber o r toe angle due to impact o r bushing wear.

Driving consistently on uneven road surfaces, like those in Karachi’s inner areas.

Fixes:
Ask for a 4-wheel alignment not just front.

Check and replace worn suspension components on the rear axle.

Rotate tires regularly and ensure proper balancing to prevent further wear.
