What Causes Steering Wheel Vibration When Driving on Pakistan’s Rough Roads in a Hyundai Tucson?

When driving on rough o r uneven roads common in Pakistan, my Hyundai Tucson’s steering wheel starts vibrating. Is this related to the steering system, tires, o r suspension? How can I identify the root cause and fix the vibration problem?

Steering wheel vibration often occurs due to uneven tire wear, wheel imbalance, o r damaged suspension components — all common on the rough and pothole-filled roads in Pakistan. If your tires are unbalanced, the steering wheel will shake, especially at higher speeds. Similarly, worn-out tie rods, ball joints, o r wheel bearings can transmit vibrations to the steering. Damaged o r misaligned wheels also cause shaking. To address this, start by getting a wheel balancing and alignment done at a trusted workshop. Inspect tires for uneven wear o r damage and replace if necessary. Also, have a mechanic check suspension and steering components for wear o r damage, replacing parts as needed to restore smooth steering and ride comfort.
