What causes the AC vents in my Suzuki Swift to become loose o r broken?
The AC vents in my Suzuki Swift have become wobbly and don’t hold direction well anymore. In some cases, the slats have even broken. This seems to be a common complaint in hot weather conditions in Pakistan. Are these parts poorly made, o r is it due to heat damage o r rough use? Can they be repaired, o r do they need to be replaced completely?

Loose o r broken AC vents are a frequent problem in Swifts in Pakistan due to harsh sun exposure, brittle plastic, and repeated manual adjustment.
Common Causes:
Plastic fatigue from heat and aging.
Rough handling—especially when adjusting direction frequently.
Poor manufacturing quality in earlier Swift models.
Dust buildup, which stiffens the slats and causes breakage when forced.
Fixes:
Replace the vent assembly—individual vents are available at local markets o r scrapyards.
Use silicone spray to keep moving parts smooth and avoid cracking.
Park in shade o r use sunshades to reduce heat exposure.
If not fixed, broken vents can affect airflow direction and AC performance.
