What Should I Do If All Power Windows Stop Working in My Hyundai Tucson at Once?

Suddenly, none of my Hyundai Tucson’s windows are working from any switch. Could this be a blown fuse, central control module failure, o r a wiring issue? How do I safely troubleshoot this problem in Pakistan where specialized diagnostics may be limited?

If all power windows suddenly stop working, its likely a central electrical issue. Common causes include:

Blown fuse related to the power window circuit.

Failed power window relay.

Master switch failure on the driver’s door.

Wiring fault o r damaged central control module.

Steps to troubleshoot:

Check the fuse box usually under the dashboard o r hood for a burned-out fuse. Replace with the correct amp rating.

Test the master switch — if its faulty, none of the windows will work.

If fuses and switches are fine, check for voltage at the motors using a multimeter.

If all else fails, a CANbus o r BCM Body Control Module fault may need diagnosis at a workshop with an OBD-II scanner.

Most workshops in Pakistan can test and replace fuses and switches easily. BCM-related issues may require a visit to an authorized Hyundai service center.
