What Should I Do If Multiple Bulbs Burn Out at Once in My Hyundai Tucson?

Recently, both a headlight and an interior dome light stopped working on the same day. Could this be a sign of a bigger electrical issue like a bad fuse, relay, o r voltage surge? How should I troubleshoot multiple bulb failures?

If two o r more bulbs e.g. headlight + dome light go out together, it’s likely not just random chance. Possible causes include:

Overvoltage from the alternator – have the charging system tested. Output should be 13.8V to 14.5V.

Blown fuse o r relay – especially if entire lighting circuits are out.

Wiring issue – rodents, corrosion, o r loose connections in humid o r dusty areas like rural Punjab o r Sindh.

Power surge from a bad battery o r jump-start.

Steps to diagnose:

Check the fuse box see the manual for correct fuses.

Inspect the battery voltage while the car is running.

Replace one bulb at a time to see if they burn out again.

Have a technician scan the system for electrical faults o r CANbus issues.
