Why Are My Hyundai Tucson’s Power Door Locks Working Intermittently in Hot Weather?

Sometimes my power locks respond to the remote, and other times they don’t — especially when the car is parked in the sun. Is Pakistan’s heat affecting the door lock actuators o r central locking system?

Intermittent operation of power locks during hot Pakistani summers may be due to:

Thermal expansion causing poor electrical contacts inside the actuator o r control module.

Overheated door lock control module o r relay malfunctioning.

Battery voltage s during heat stress.

Wiring harness insulation softening o r cracking, causing intermittent shorts.

Preventive tips:

Park in shade o r use sunshades to reduce cabin temperature.

Regularly check and clean door lock connectors.

Have an electrician check the control module and relays for faults.

If a particular actuator is failing intermittently, consider replacing it before full failure.
