Why are my Suzuki Swift’s wipers not clearing the windshield evenly, leaving patchy streaks?

My wipers don’t seem to clear the windshield evenly—some parts remain streaky while others are clear. The blades aren’t that old. Is this a problem with the wiper arms, the blade angle, o r the windshield itself?

Uneven wiping usually points to worn-out wiper blades, improper wiper arm pressure, o r a warped windshield surface.

Causes:

Deformed wiper blades from heat o r prolonged use.

Weak wiper arm springs, which can’t apply even pressure.

Dirt o r grit caught under the blade edge.

Uneven o r pitted windshield glass, especially in older Swifts.

Fixes:

Replace the blades with OEM o r premium aftermarket options.

Check that the wiper arm has proper tension if not, it may need adjustment o r replacement.

Clean the blades weekly with glass cleaner o r rubbing alcohol.

Have the windshield inspected if streaks persist despite clean wipers.
