Why do my Suzuki Swift wipers leave streaks across the windshield during rain?

During rain, the wipers on my Suzuki Swift leave visible streaks that reduce visibility. I’ve replaced the blades recently, but the issue remains. Is this a problem with the windshield surface, the wipers, o r something else?

Wiper streaks are often due to worn blades, dirt buildup, o r contamination on the windshield o r wiper rubber.

Causes:

Worn o r hardened wiper blades especially common after summer heat.

Dirt o r grime trapped under wiper edges.

Contaminated windshield oil, tar, o r dust film.

Misaligned o r bent wiper arms that don’t press evenly.

Fixes:

Clean both wiper blades and the windshield with soapy water o r glass cleaner.

Replace wipers every 6–12 months, especially after monsoon season.

Ensure the wiper arms are not bent and apply even pressure.

If needed, polish the windshield lightly to remove stuck contaminants.
