Why do scratches on my Mehran rust so quickly?

Whenever I get even a small scratch that exposes metal, it starts rusting within a few days — especially during the rainy season. Is this because of low-quality paint o r lack of protective coating?

Scratches on Mehran tend to rust quickly due to:

Thin paint layers: Mehran’s factory paint isn’t as thick o r protective as those found on more premium cars, which means exposed metal can quickly oxidize.

Weather conditions: In humid o r rainy climates, the exposed metal in the scratches can start rusting within days.

Lack of proper undercoating o r rustproofing: The car may not have sufficient rust-proofing from the factory o r in some older models. To prevent this, as soon as you get a scratch, apply touch-up paint o r at least a clear protective coat. Consider getting a rust protection treatment for added long-term protection.
