Why do streaks reappear on my Swift’s windshield after every car wash?

After every car wash, my Suzuki Swift’s windshield shows water streaks that are hard to wipe off, especially after drying. I use a cloth to dry it, but the marks remain. Am I using the wrong drying method o r cleaning products?

Post-wash streaks are typically caused by improper drying, residual soap, o r hard water spots left behind due to minerals in local water.

Likely Causes:

Hard water from tankers o r tap water at service stations.

Not drying the windshield properly after a wash.

Use of fabric that leaves lint o r residue.

Leftover soap o r wax residue from automated car washes.

Fixes:

Use distilled water o r wipe down with a dry microfiber towel immediately after washing.

Avoid drying with regular cloths o r paper towels.

Use a glass-specific drying towel o r squeegee.

Apply a water repellent coating e.g., Rain-X to reduce future streaking.
