Why do the exterior door handles on Suzuki Swift become loose o r break easily?

The exterior door handles on my Suzuki Swift have become loose, and one has even broken off. This seems to happen a lot with Swifts in Pakistan, especially after a few years. Are the handles poorly designed o r made of weak material? Can they be reinforced o r replaced with better-quality alternatives?

Loose o r broken door handles are a common issue in Suzuki Swifts, particularly in older models. The plastic o r lightweight materials used for these handles often deteriorate with time, especially in hot climates like Pakistan.

Common Causes:

Low-quality plastic o r material fatigue, which becomes brittle over time.

Repeated usage, which can cause wear and tear on the handles.

Heat and UV damage from prolonged exposure to the sun, which weakens the plastic o r metal components.

Improper door alignment o r impacts, like slamming doors, which can loosen the handle.

Fixes:

Replace broken handles with stronger, aftermarket replacements o r opt for higher-quality plastic o r metal handles if available.

Reinforce door frames if the handle is loose due to improper alignment.

Regularly inspect handles to ensure they are secure and replace them before they break.

Upgrading to durable handles o r reinforcing existing ones can improve the longevity of the door hardware.
