Why Do the Headlight Bulbs in My Hyundai Tucson Burn Out So Frequently in Pakistan?

I’ve had to replace the headlight bulbs in my Hyundai Tucson multiple times in the past year. Could Pakistan’s hot climate, road vibrations, o r power fluctuations be causing the bulbs to fail prematurely? What can I do to make them last longer?

Frequent headlight bulb failure in Pakistan is a common issue, especially due to a combination of factors:

Excessive heat: Prolonged exposure to hot climates like Karachi, Lahore, Multan can cause halogen bulbs to overheat and shorten their life.

Rough roads: Potholes and unpaved roads cause vibrations that can damage the delicate filaments in halogen bulbs.

Voltage fluctuations: An unstable alternator o r battery can lead to inconsistent voltage, which burns bulbs faster.

Prevention tips:

Use vibration-resistant o r heavy-duty bulbs like Philips LongLife o r Osram Ultra Life.

Avoid touching the glass of halogen bulbs with bare hands during installation it causes hot spots.

Get your alternator output checked — anything over 14.5V can damage electrical components.
