Why does my Hyundai Tucson engine sputter after refueling?

After filling up with petrol at certain fuel stations in Pakistan, my Tucson’s engine starts sputtering o r misfiring intermittently. Could this be related to fuel quality issues, and what other factors might cause this problem?

Sputtering after refueling is often related to fuel quality and the fuel system:

Poor quality o r contaminated fuel: Low-grade petrol with impurities o r water can cause misfires and sputtering.

Faulty evaporative emissions system EVAP: A malfunctioning purge valve o r charcoal canister may cause vapor lock o r fuel vapor issues after refueling.

Loose o r damaged fuel cap: This can affect fuel pressure and trigger engine sputtering.

Recommendation:
Avoid low-quality fuel stations, inspect the EVAP system for leaks o r faults, and ensure the fuel cap is properly sealed.
