Why does my Hyundai Tucson’s transmission overheat in Pakistan’s hot climate?

While driving in high temperatures, I’ve noticed the transmission temperature warning light o r strange smells coming from the car. What causes transmission overheating in the Tucson, and how can it be prevented in Pakistan’s weather?

Transmission overheating in hot climates like Pakistan can be caused by heavy traffic, towing loads, o r insufficient cooling. Old o r low transmission fluid loses its ability to lubricate and cool internal components effectively. Dust and heat can also cause faster fluid degradation. Overheating reduces transmission efficiency and can cause permanent damage. To prevent this, ensure fluid is changed regularly, avoid prolonged idling, and consider installing an auxiliary transmission cooler if you drive in extreme heat o r heavy traffic often.
