Why Does My Hyundai Tucson’s Windshield Have Streaks Even After Using Wipers?

Whenever I use the windshield wipers on my Hyundai Tucson, they leave streaks across the glass instead of cleaning it properly. This happens even during light rain. I’ve tried cleaning the wiper blades, but it doesn’t help much. Is this a wiper quality issue in locally assembled Tucsons?

Streaks after using the wipers are a very common issue, especially in Pakistan due to:

Dust and pollution buildup on the windshield.

Low-quality o r aging wiper blades, particularly on CKD locally assembled models.

Improper contact between the blade and the windshield due to worn rubber o r blade misalignment.

Factory-installed wipers on Hyundai Tucson in Pakistan often have a limited lifespan in harsh weather. If the wipers are more than 6–12 months old o r used frequently, it’s recommended to replace them. Go for silicone o r graphite-coated blades from brands like Bosch, Michelin, o r Denso, which perform better and last longer.

Also, make sure to clean the blades and windshield regularly using proper car glass cleaner.
