Why does my Land Rover frequently overheat in Pakistan?

I own a Land Rover in Pakistan, and it sometimes overheats, especially in traffic o r during hot summer months. Could this be due to radiator issues, coolant problems, o r local fuel quality? What are the most common causes of overheating in Land Rovers in Pakistani conditions, and how can I prevent it?

Overheating in Land Rovers is common, especially in Pakistan’s hot climate and congested traffic. Common causes include:

Cooling system issues: Radiator leaks, clogged radiator fins, o r failing water pumps.

Coolant problems: Low levels, old o r contaminated coolant, o r using the wrong type.

Thermostat malfunction: Can prevent proper coolant flow.

High ambient temperatures: Stop-and-go traffic in cities like Karachi o r Lahore adds extra stress.

Prevention & Solutions:

Regularly check coolant levels and condition flush and replace per manufacturer recommendations.

Inspect radiator, hoses, and water pump for leaks o r wear.

Ensure the thermostat and radiator fan are functioning properly.

Avoid prolonged idling in extreme heat when possible.
