Why Does My Suzuki Mehran Feel Sluggish o r Underpowered When Accelerating?

My Mehran takes a long time to pick up speed, especially with the AC on o r when going uphill. Even after pressing the accelerator, the car feels slow to respond. What could be causing the poor throttle response and weak pickup?

If your Suzuki Mehran is sluggish o r underpowered when accelerating, several factors could be contributing to this issue:

Carburetor Issues: Mehran’s older carbureted engines can have clogged jets o r dirty components, leading to poor fuel-air mixture and sluggish acceleration.

Air Filter: A clogged o r dirty air filter reduces airflow to the engine, causing inefficient combustion and a loss of power.

Fuel System Problems: Clogged fuel injectors o r a weak fuel pump may prevent enough fuel from reaching the engine, especially under load.

Ignition System Problems: Worn-out spark plugs, faulty ignition coils, o r damaged spark plug wires can cause misfiring o r poor acceleration.

Exhaust Blockages: A blocked catalytic converter o r muffler could restrict the exhaust flow, reducing engine power.

🛠️ Fix:
