Why does my Suzuki Mehran fog up from the inside during rain o r winter?

During rainy weather o r early mornings in winter, the inside of my Suzuki Mehran’s windows get foggy and it’s hard to see. Since the car doesn’t have a proper defogger o r climate control, what can I do to prevent o r fix this issue while driving? Are there any Pakistani products o r hacks that actually work?

Fogging inside the windshield happens due to moisture in the air condensing on the cold glass, especially when the car’s ventilation system is poor.

Solutions that work in Pakistan:

Open a window slightly to balance inside/outside humidity.

Use the air direction control to direct air to the windshield if your car has that setting.

Keep a microfiber cloth in the car to wipe the glass.

Place silica gel packs o r charcoal bags on the dashboard to absorb moisture.

Use anti-fog sprays available in local accessory shops o r online.

For long-term relief, you can install a basic defogger blower fan on the dashboard Rs. 1,000–2,500.
