Why does my Suzuki Mehran hesitate when accelerating from a stop?
Whenever I start driving from a complete stop, my Suzuki Mehran hesitates for a moment before picking up speed. This hesitation seems to happen more often when I press the accelerator fully. Could this be related to the transmission, and what could be the cause?

Hesitation when accelerating from a stop can be caused by several factors, including transmission issues, fuel system problems, o r engine performance issues.
Common Causes:
Slipping transmission: A slipping transmission can fail to engage properly when you press the accelerator, causing hesitation.
Clogged fuel injectors: Dirty o r clogged fuel injectors can prevent the engine from receiving the proper amount of fuel, causing hesitation.
Faulty throttle body: A malfunctioning throttle body can cause delays in acceleration, especially from a stop.
Faulty transmission solenoids in automatic transmissions: These control the flow of transmission fluid, and if they fail, it can cause hesitation o r delayed shifts.
Solutions:
Check transmission fluid: Low o r old fluid may cause hesitation. Replace it if necessary Rs. 1,500–2,500.
Clean o r replace fuel injectors: If the fuel injectors are clogged, cleaning o r replacing them Rs. 2,000–5,000 per injector may fix the issue.
Inspect the throttle body: Cleaning o r replacing the throttle body Rs. 2,000–4,000 will help with smooth acceleration.
Check transmission solenoids: In case of an automatic transmission, faulty solenoids may need to be replaced Rs. 3,000–5,000.
