If your Suzuki Mehrans steering feels stiff o r hard to turn, it could be due to several possible causes:

Common Causes:

Low Power Steering Fluid: One of the most common causes of stiff steering is insufficient power steering fluid. If the fluid is low o r leaks from the steering pump o r hoses, it can cause difficulty in turning the wheel.

Power Steering Pump Failure: A faulty power steering pump can result in reduced hydraulic pressure, making the steering harder to turn.

Damaged Steering Rack: A damaged steering rack o r worn-out components within it can make steering more difficult.

Worn-out Tie Rods o r Ball Joints: If the tie rods o r ball joints in the steering linkage are worn out, they may cause resistance when turning the steering wheel.

🛠️ Fix:
Check Power Steering Fluid levels and refill o r replace any leaking hoses.

Inspect the Power Steering Pump for signs of damage o r wear and replace it if necessary.

Have the Steering Rack and other components like tie rods and ball joints inspected and replaced if required.
