Why does my Suzuki Swift consume engine oil quickly even without visible leaks?

I’ve noticed that my Suzuki Swift’s engine oil level s significantly between oil changes, even though there are no signs of leakage under the car. Is this normal for Swift, o r does it point to internal engine issues like burning oil?

Excessive engine oil consumption without visible leaks is often caused by internal engine wear, such as worn piston rings, valve seals, o r a damaged cylinder head gasket.

Common Causes:

Worn piston rings o r valve seals: These can allow oil to seep into the combustion chamber, where it is burned, resulting in oil consumption.

Blow-by gases: These gases, which are byproducts of combustion, can push oil into areas where it shouldn’t be, leading to excessive oil use.

PCV Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve issues: A malfunctioning PCV valve may cause excess oil consumption.

Fixes:

Perform a compression test o r leak-down test to check for worn piston rings o r valve seals.

If the PCV valve is faulty, replace it to restore proper ventilation in the engine.

Keep regular checks on oil levels and use quality synthetic oils to reduce oil consumption.
