Why does my Suzuki Swift feel underpowered during acceleration?

Many Swift owners in Pakistan report that the car feels sluggish when accelerating, especially with AC on o r when fully loaded. What could be the performance-related causes behind this issue, and how can it be resolved?

This is a common complaint, especially in older models o r heavily used Swifts. Here are the usual causes:

Dirty throttle body o r fuel injectors: Clogs can affect fuel-air mixture.

Worn spark plugs o r ignition coils: Poor combustion reduces engine power.

Low-quality fuel: Common in Pakistan, poor fuel quality impacts engine performance.

Clogged air filter: Reduces airflow, affecting acceleration.

AC load: The compressor puts extra load on the engine, especially with passengers on board.
Fix: Get a full engine tune-up, clean injectors, replace air filter and spark plugs, and use better fuel preferably high-octane for some models.
