Why does my Suzuki Swift take longer to start in the morning o r after it rains?

My 2012 Swift struggles to start on cold mornings o r after rain. Once it starts, it runs fine. Could moisture o r worn-out spark plugs be the issue?

Long crank times during cold starts o r rainy weather can point to spark plug o r ignition coil issues. Moisture can affect spark plug performance, especially if the plugs o r coil boots are old o r have worn seals.

Possible causes:

Worn o r corroded spark plug tips

Moisture in ignition coil connectors o r boots

Weak spark due to fouled plugs

What to do:

Check the spark plugs for moisture, cracks, o r carbon buildup

Replace if they’re old o r worn

Use dielectric grease on coil boot ends to prevent moisture intrusion

Regular preventive maintenance is key in Pakistans humid coastal areas Karachi o r cold regions Murree, Abbottabad.
