Why does my Suzuki Swift windshield fog up and streak when I use the washer spray?

When I use the windshield washer spray in my Suzuki Swift, the glass becomes foggy and streaky instead of getting clean. It often looks worse than before. Is the washer fluid the issue, o r could it be dirty wiper blades?

This is typically due to low-quality washer fluid, dirty wipers, o r tap water used in the washer reservoir, which leaves mineral streaks.

Common Causes:

Hard water o r untreated tap water in the washer tank.

Washer fluid with detergent residue that isn’t designed for windshields.

Dust and dirt buildup on the wiper blades smearing across the glass.

Fixes:

Use pre-mixed windshield washer fluid available at auto shops in Pakistan.

Drain and flush the washer reservoir before refilling.

Clean the wiper blades regularly and wipe them with alcohol-based cleaner.

Avoid using just water—especially in dusty conditions.
