Why does my Suzuki Swift windshield streak badly even after cleaning?

Even after cleaning my Suzuki Swift’s windshield with water o r glass cleaner, it still ends up with streaks and haze. It’s especially noticeable in sunlight o r at night when headlights shine on it. Could this be due to poor-quality cleaner o r residue on the glass?

Streaks that appear after cleaning are usually caused by residue from low-quality glass cleaners, improper wiping materials, o r even oily deposits from the air especially in polluted cities like Karachi o r Lahore.

Common Causes:

Use of ammonia-based o r low-grade glass cleaners.

Cleaning with old rags, tissue, o r low-quality microfiber cloths.

Oily residue from road grime o r interior plastics.

Washing the windshield in direct sunlight, causing rapid drying and streaks.

Fixes:

Use a high-quality automotive glass cleaner ammonia-free.

Wipe with a clean, lint-free microfiber cloth in circular motions.

Clean the glass in shade to avoid quick drying.

For stubborn residue, use a mixture of vinegar and water, then dry with microfiber.
