Why does my Suzuki Swift’s power window stop midway while closing?

I have a 2021 Suzuki Swift and recently, the front driver-side power window stops halfway when I try to close it. I have to press the switch multiple times to get it fully up. Is this a motor issue, window track problem, o r something electrical? Has anyone else in Pakistan faced this?

This is a common symptom of a weak window motor o r increased friction in the window tracks.

Possible Causes:
Weak o r failing motor: With time and frequent use, especially in Pakistan’s dusty environment, the motor can lose torque.

Dirty o r dry window tracks: Dust and grime accumulate in the rubber channels, especially in cities like Karachi o r Lahore. This adds resistance.

Electrical contact issue: Sometimes, the window switch may not send a consistent signal if the contacts are corroded o r loose.

Solutions:
Clean and lubricate the window channels using silicone spray.

Have a technician test the motor current draw—if it’s high, the motor is struggling and may need replacement.

Check the switch contacts o r replace the switch if it’s not making proper connection.
