Why does my Suzuki Swift’s tire pressure warning light turn on during early mornings?

I drive a 2022 Swift with a tire pressure monitoring system. The TPMS warning light often comes on in the early morning in Islamabad, but goes away later in the day. Is this related to cold temperatures, and should I be worried?

This is a known issue with TPMS-equipped cars. The cold morning temperatures, especially in cities like Islamabad, cause the air inside the tires to contract, triggering the TPMS light.

Explanation:
Tire pressure s slightly 1–2 PSI in cold temperatures overnight.

The TPMS senses this as “low pressure,” especially when tires are just below the recommended limit.

As you drive and tires warm up, pressure rises and the light turns off.

Solution:
Check tire pressure first thing in the morning, when tires are cold.

Inflate tires slightly higher by 1–2 PSI within safe limits during the winter months.

If the warning persists, get the TPMS sensors checked for calibration o r battery wear.
