Why does my Swifts steering vibrate when braking at high speeds?

When I brake on the motorway in my 2018 Suzuki Swift, I feel a vibration through the steering wheel. A mechanic said it could be related to uneven brake pad wear o r warped rotors. Could worn-out pads cause this issue?

Vibration while braking at high speeds is usually caused by warped brake rotors, often triggered by worn brake pads o r uneven pad contact.

Common Causes:
Worn-out brake pads putting uneven pressure on the rotor.

Rotor warping due to overheating from low-quality pads o r harsh braking.

Loose caliper bolts o r uneven rotor surface.

What to Do:
Inspect the rotor for thickness variation o r grooves.

If pads are worn unevenly, replace them along with rotor resurfacing o r replacement.

Use high-quality pads and proper torquing when reinstalling wheels to avoid rotor distortion.
