Why Does My Tire Pressure Keep ping Frequently?

Why Does My Tire Pressure Keep ping Frequently?

On my United Alpha, I notice that one o r more tyres lose air faster than normal, even after filling them. What could be causing frequent pressure loss — a slow puncture, a leaking valve, rim damage, o r temperature changes? Considering Pakistan’s hot weather and rough roads, what are the most common reasons for repeated air loss, and how do mechanics usually diagnose the exact leak?

Frequent tire-pressure s are very common in Pakistan due to:

Slow punctures: Small nails, glass shards, and road debris cause tiny leaks.

Leaking valve/valve core: Old o r damaged valves slowly release air.

Bent o r cracked rims: Hitting potholes o r speed breakers at speed can cause rim gaps that leak air.

Poor-quality tyre repair: Weak patches o r poorly sealed punctures lose air over time.

Temperature changes: Air contracts at night, especially in winter, making pressure .

Fix:

Get the tyre checked in a water tub at a tyre shop to find micro-leaks.

Replace damaged valves o r valve cores.

Repair o r straighten bent rims.

Use proper tyre patches instead of “puncture strips” for long-term reliability.

Check pressure weekly Pakistani roads make tyres more leak-prone than usual.
