Why does the paint on my Suzuki Mehran fade o r peel so quickly?

My white Suzuki Mehran 2015 is already showing signs of faded paint on the roof and bonnet, and some areas are even peeling. I park it mostly in the open. Is this normal for Mehran paint? What causes it to wear out so fast, and how can I protect o r restore the paint affordably?

The paint quality on Suzuki Mehran is basic and often not UV-resistant, especially in older models. Exposure to direct sunlight, pollution, and lack of waxing causes:

Oxidation of the paint dullness and fading

Peeling of the clear coat, especially on the roof, bonnet, and trunk

Chalking o r roughness when you run your hand over the surface

Prevention & Fixes:

Use a car cover if parked in the sun Rs. 1,000–2,000 in local markets.

Apply car wax o r polish every 3–4 months Turtle Wax, Formula 1 – Rs. 800–1,200.

Get machine buffing done for faded paint Rs. 2,500–4,000.

For peeling, repainting the affected panel is the only long-term solution.

Frequent cleaning and polishing will significantly extend the life of your car’s paint.
