Why does the radio and sound system in my Suzuki Mehran have poor reception?
I recently installed a new sound system in my 2016 Suzuki Mehran, but the radio reception is terrible. I often lose signal, especially on highways o r when driving in areas with a lot of hills. Is this a common issue? How can I improve the radio reception and sound quality in my car?

The poor radio reception in Suzuki Mehran is commonly caused by a few factors:
Weak o r damaged antenna: Mehrans stock antenna is small and can often get damaged o r lose its connection over time.
Cheap radio system: The factory radio may not be the best quality, which results in weak reception, especially in rural areas o r on highways.
Electrical interference: Sometimes, other components of the car like the alternator can cause static o r interference in the radio signal.
Solutions:
Upgrade the antenna: Consider replacing the stock antenna with a longer o r amplified antenna Rs. 500–1,500 at local markets.
Install a quality radio system: A Pioneer o r Kenwood head unit can improve signal quality Rs. 5,000–8,000 for basic models.
Check antenna wiring: Ensure that the antenna wire is securely connected to the back of the radio. Loose connections can cause signal loss.
Install an external antenna booster: If you frequently drive in areas with weak signals, an external antenna booster can be a cost-effective solution Rs. 1,500–2,500.
