Why Has One Power Window in My Hyundai Tucson Stopped Working While Others Are Fine?

Only the front passenger window in my Hyundai Tucson isn’t working — the rest are fine. Could this be a motor, switch, o r fuse issue? How do I figure out which part needs repair o r replacement?

In Pakistan’s hot climate, especially during summers, power windows in the Hyundai Tucson may operate slowly o r get stuck due to:

Heat expansion of rubber seals around the window frames, increasing friction.

Dry o r dirty window channels, which cause resistance.

Aging window motor that’s losing power and is more sensitive to heat.

Solutions:

Apply silicone spray o r rubber-safe lubricant to the window tracks.

Avoid excessive window use during peak heat hours.

If the motor is old, consider replacing it — a weak motor struggles in high resistance.

Preventive care like regular cleaning and using sunshades can reduce heat exposure and extend the life of your power windows.
