Why is coolant leaking from the front side of my Suzuki Mehran’s engine?

I noticed green coolant leaking near the timing belt area of my Mehran. Could this be a water pump issue, o r is it a radiator pipe? How do I confirm its the water pump leaking?

If youre seeing coolant leakage from the front side near timing cover o r fan belt area, its likely the water pump seal o r gasket is worn out. In Mehran, the water pump is located on the passenger side of the engine, and a leak there usually means:

Worn-out gasket common in older models.

Corroded water pump body due to using tap water instead of coolant.

Loose bolts o r damaged water pump pulley.

You can confirm it’s the pump by checking for:

Wet o r greenish stains near the water pump pulley.

Coolant dripping when the engine is hot.

A mechanic pressure-testing the cooling system.

If confirmed, replacement is necessary.
