Why is my AC gas leaking frequently in my Suzuki Swift?

I’ve refilled the AC gas twice in 12 months on my 2013 Suzuki Swift, but the cooling fades after a few weeks. Is gas leakage a common problem in Pakistani Swifts? How do I find the source of the leak, and should I consider replacing the AC pipes o r condenser?

Frequent gas leakage is a major issue for older Suzuki Swifts especially 2010–2015 in Pakistan. Common causes:

Worn out O-rings and seals in the AC pipes

Cracked aluminum pipes due to vibrations o r poor road conditions

Rust o r corrosion in the condenser

Improper installation o r overcharging of refrigerant during previous service

The only proper solution is a leak detection test using UV dye o r nitrogen. Once the leak is found, the faulty part—whether its a pipe, evaporator, o r condenser—must be replaced. Avoid just refilling gas, as it will escape again.

Ask the technician to vacuum test the system before refilling gas.
