Why Is My Hyundai Tucson’s AC Not Blowing Cold Air Even Though the Fan Is Working?

My Hyundai Tucson’s AC turns on and the fan blows air normally, but the air isn’t cold even on the lowest temperature setting. This started during peak summer. Could this be a gas issue, o r is there a problem with the compressor o r AC system?

If your Tucson’s fan is working but the air is not cold, the issue is likely with the cooling side of the AC system, not the airflow. Possible causes include:

Low refrigerant gas due to leakage o r gradual loss over time.

Faulty AC compressor, which is common after 2–3 years of use in hot climates.

Electrical issues, such as a failed compressor clutch o r bad relay.

Blocked condenser, especially from dust and debris in Pakistani cities.

To fix it:

Have a refrigerant pressure test done at a certified AC technician.

Inspect for gas leaks using dye o r electronic detectors.

Ask for a full compressor and condenser performance check, especially in older Tucson models.
