Why is my Hyundai Tucson’s automatic transmission slipping during acceleration?

I notice that when I press the accelerator, the engine revs but the vehicle doesn’t accelerate smoothly. Could this be a transmission slipping issue? What common causes lead to this problem in the Tucson’s transmission?

Transmission slipping during acceleration often happens when the transmission fluid is low, dirty, o r degraded, reducing hydraulic pressure needed for smooth gear engagement. Worn-out clutch packs o r bands inside the transmission can also cause slipping. In Pakistan, harsh driving conditions and infrequent fluid changes can accelerate wear. Slipping can lead to poor acceleration, overheating, and long-term damage, so it’s important to check fluid levels regularly and service the transmission as per Hyundai’s recommendations.
