After driving over potholes and uneven roads common in Pakistan, I noticed coolant leaking from under my Hyundai Tucson. Could the rough terrain cause radiator damage o r leaks? What should I inspect o r do to fix this problem?

Pakistan’s roads often have potholes, bumps, and uneven surfaces that can physically stress your vehicle’s radiator and its mounting points. Over time, repeated jolts can cause small cracks in the radiator o r damage to the seams and connections, especially if the radiator is older o r made of plastic/aluminum. Vibrations can also loosen radiator hoses and clamps, leading to leaks. If you notice coolant under the car after a rough drive, inspect the radiator for visible cracks, especially near the edges o r mounting brackets. Also, check the hoses for looseness o r wear. Minor cracks may be temporarily sealed with radiator sealants, but professional repair o r radiator replacement is often the safer long-term solution.
