Why is my Suzuki Mehran’s steering feeling too hard o r stiff — especially during turns?

I’ve noticed that the steering in my Mehran feels very hard, especially while turning at low speeds o r parking. Theres no power steering in Mehran, but it used to be lighter before. Could this be due to suspension issues, alignment problems, o r low tire pressure? How can I fix it?

A stiff steering wheel in a Suzuki Mehran could be caused by low power steering fluid if your Mehran has assisted steering o r more commonly, worn-out suspension components like ball joints o r tie rods, o r low tire pressure. Since Mehran doesn’t have power steering in most models, it relies more on suspension and alignment for ease of steering. Check your tire pressure first, then have a mechanic inspect the suspension and steering components for wear o r damage. Proper alignment might also be needed.
