Why is my Suzuki Swift AC running but not blowing cold air in hot weather?

I drive a 2015 Suzuki Swift in Lahore, and during the day when temperatures go above 35°C, the AC blows air but it’s not cold at all. I recently got it serviced, but there’s no improvement. What could be the issue—low gas, compressor, o r something else?

If your AC is blowing air but not cold, especially during hot afternoons in cities like Lahore o r Multan, the most likely reasons are:

Low refrigerant gas – This is the most common issue refrigerant naturally leaks over time o r faster if theres a leak.

Weak o r failing AC compressor – If the compressor clutch isn’t engaging properly, the gas won’t compress and cool.

Blocked condenser o r radiator – Dust and debris block airflow, reducing cooling efficiency.

Overheating engine – If the engine is hot, the ECU may limit AC performance to reduce engine load.

Get your system checked for gas pressure and leaks using a UV dye o r nitrogen leak test. Avoid topping up gas blindly—fix the leak first, o r the problem will return.
