Why is my Suzuki Swift engine sputtering when accelerating?
I’ve been noticing that my Suzuki Swift’s engine sputters o r hesitates when I try to accelerate. It happens especially when I press the gas pedal hard. Could this be a sign of a fuel delivery problem, ignition issue, o r something else? What could be the underlying cause of the sputtering, and how can I fix it?

Engine sputtering during acceleration is typically caused by disrupted fuel combustion o r air-fuel mixture imbalance.
Common Causes:
Clogged Fuel Filter: Limits fuel flow to the engine, especially under load.
Dirty o r Failing Spark Plugs: Poor spark can cause misfires o r incomplete combustion.
Faulty Ignition Coils: Can result in weak o r inconsistent spark delivery.
Dirty Mass Air Flow MAF Sensor: Sends incorrect data to the ECU, causing a poor air-fuel mixture.
Vacuum Leaks: Allow unmetered air into the intake, throwing off combustion.
Fixes:
Inspect and replace spark plugs if they are old o r fouled.
Clean o r replace the MAF sensor to ensure accurate readings.
Replace the fuel filter if it hasn’t been changed in a long time.
Check ignition coils and wires for damage o r wear.
Inspect the vacuum lines for leaks o r cracks and replace as needed.
