Why is my Suzuki Swift losing coolant but there’s no visible leak?

My 2015 Swift keeps losing coolant every few days, but there’s no obvious leak under the car o r near the radiator. Could it be a head gasket issue o r internal coolant loss? How do I detect where the coolant is going?

If your Swift is losing coolant but there’s no visible leak, there may be an internal leak o r evaporation issue. Likely causes include:

Blown head gasket – Coolant may be leaking into the engine and burning off with exhaust.

Evaporating from the overflow bottle – If the radiator cap is faulty.

Heater core leak – Small internal leak inside the dashboard may cause foggy windows o r sweet smell.

Coolant seepage during driving – Tiny leaks that only appear when the system is pressurized and hot.

Diagnosis tips:

Check engine oil for a milky texture coolant mixing with oil

Look for white smoke from the exhaust on cold starts

Pressure test the cooling system

Check for coolant residue around hose joints and water pump
